Buck Knives is a historic American knife maker with roots stretching back to 1902, when Hoyt Buck handmade his first blade as a young blacksmith apprentice. The family-owned company officially formed in 1947 and eventually introduced the iconic Model 110 Folding Hunter in 1964, a design so influential that “buck knife” became synonymous with strong, lockback folding knives. Today, Buck Knives is led by the fourth generation of the Buck family and continues to produce a wide range of hunting, outdoor, and everyday knives—many of them still manufactured at its facility in Post Falls, Idaho—built for durability, practicality, and long-lasting performance.
